This month ... we say a fond farewell to Chiswick.
Long, long ago we dreamed of a place where people could call in to eat and drink delicious things, buy a few treats and generally lounge around in a friendly and cool space. Last year the dream came true and The Crown & Anchor became the home of Shackology.
We’ve sure smoothed out a lot of wrinkles along the way, but we never did quite "fit" with our building. The Crown & Anchor really only ever wanted to be a "proper" pub and so it is to be reborn as just that. (It is being de-Shacked as we speak.)
What’s next for Shack? We now have a much better idea of the location and type of building we need. We’ve tweaked and refined the idea and our scouts are out searching for the perfect spot. (Know one? Tell us!)
So, for now, we say a big thank you to all those who have helped us with Shack so far - especially our lovely staff - and farewell to all our loyal supporters and friends in Chiswick.
